Our orientation is coming up soon! We will be holding our orientation night in BS3 1200 on September 23rd. CAMA will be holding a demo at 6:30 pm, and doors open at 7 pm. After the show, we will be going to CHA at the UTC. Be sure to come out to this great event! Come see what we've been working on all summer! We're sure it'll be a blast!

CA Board would like to thank everyone who came out to our summer bbq event on the 12th. It was because of you that it was such a success. We hope everyone had fun and we are looking forward to seeing you all at Orientation!

We have another Gleaning event soon! Gleaning is where we help pick fresh produce (i.e broccoli, carrots, onions, strawberries, green beans and watermelons) to feed the hungry. If we pick enough and there are extras, we can take some home! The date set to glean is October 3rd from 1-3pm. If you're interested, please email Catherine at ca.communityoutreach@gmail.com. We need 10 people for this soo first come first serve!

Our summer event location has been changed!!! We will now be holding the Chinese Association Summer BBQ Bonanza at COLONEL BARBERS MARINE CORPS MEMORIAL PARK at 12 noon! If you don't have a ride or don't know where it is, we will be providing rides from the short term parking lot at 12!
If you choose to get there by your own means of transportation, then, leaving from UCI, you can get there by going down Harvard toward Alton. After passing Alton, you will be making a left on San Juan and arriving at the location. We're looking forward to seeing you there!

Our summer event has been announced! On September 12th, we will be holding the Chinese Association Summer BBQ Bonanza at Turtle Rock park at 12 noon! Don't have a ride or don't know where it is? Well, we will be providing rides from the short term parking lot at 12! Check back weekly for new updates! Come on out and meet the new board!

We have another TV taping on the 15th of this month. We will be watching Hank! If you are interested in joining us for this event, or wish to receive more information, please email our fundraising chair, Anita Au, at ca.fundraiser@gmail.com.

CA is looking for anyone who is willing to play sports with us. We are working on our lineup for Fall and would like to hear from YOU! If you play a certain sport and would like to see CA participate during the Fall quarter, or if you are willing to be a coach for a specific sport, send an email to Michael Wong at ca.externalvp@gmail.com!

CA is holding practices for FOOTBALL! Yes, we are going to have a football team this fall! If you are interested in playing with us, or just want to have fun and practice with us, we are holding practices every Friday at the ARC's upper fields! Come out and support!

Football isn't the only one holding open practices though, our Dragon Boat team is holding open practices this week! Come out on Saturday to learn more about Dragon Boat and meet our constituent members! Meet up is at the short term parking lot at 9:30 AM. Wear clothes that you wouldn't mind getting wet in!

We have another boba sale this Wednesday. We will be boothing between 11am - 4pm. Come out and support us, or just hang out with us! We will be near the student center and bookstore. We'll see you there!

Hemopet is soon approaching! Be sure to sign up soon!
Hemopet is a non-profit animal blood bank that service over 2000 veterinary clinics nationwide. Their facility houses a colony of healthy canine donors, mostly greyhounds who are deemed unsuitable for the racing industry. This is a great opportunity to help out the canine community and interact with dogs! The date to hang out with these great companions is August 22nd at 9:30am and we need a group 10.

Thank you to all our alumni that were able to make it out to our bbq on the 8th. We hope you're all doing well, and will continue to come out to our events in the future.

CA is having a boba sale this Wednesday, August 12th. Come on out and support us! We will be boothing from 11 am until 4 pm, or until we sell out! Drop by to hang out and talk. Come meet some of the new board members! We'll see you there!

We are no longer accepting Culture Night applications. If you submitted an application, then please remember that scripts are due on the 30th!
